Monaca, PA--- Penn State Beaver won their fourth straight game on Wednesday night, beating PSU DuBois 88-74, improving their record to 14-3 overall and a perfect 11-0 in conference play. Beaver got out to an early lead and led 49-41 at the half. DuBois would battle back and would take a small lead around the midpoint of the second half. Beaver would answer with a 10-0 run that would give them a lead that they would hold onto for the win.
Rob Agurs (Pittsburgh, Penn Hills) scored a game high 26 points to go along with 8 rebounds, Nick Miller (Beaver Falls, Beaver Falls) finished with 22 points and 5 assists while Chris Weathers (New Brighton, New Brighton) added 12 points and 6 rebounds. Julian Taylor (Rochester, Rochester) grabbed 8 rebounds and Markes Royster (Pittsburgh, Penn Hills) dished out 4 assists for Beaver.
Beaver will be back at home on Friday night when they host PSU Brandywine at 8pm. They will also play again on Saturday when they welcome PSU Mont Alto to the Beaver Fieldhouse with tip-off scheduled for 3pm.
