Beaver drops to Eastern Mennonite

Buena Vista, VA - The Penn State Beaver men's basketball team fell 98-71 to Eastern Mennonite University in day one of the Southern Virginia Classic on Friday.

The Lions fought hard in the first half, trailing by seven, but Eastern Mennonite went on two large runs that would cost Beaver the game. Junior Tony Houghton (Perry Traditional Academy/Pittsburgh, PA) scored 18 to lead Beaver, and senior Billy Stoughton added 11 points in the effort.

The Lions, now 4-5 overall, return to the court tomorrow when they take on Southern Virginia.
