Lions Fall to IUP

Indiana, PA - The Penn State Beaver men's basketball team suffered a 61-94 loss in an exhibition game against Indiana University of Pennsylvania, falling to 3-4 overall.
Beaver had a 20-18 advantage over IUP with about 11 minutes to go in the first half. IUP then went on an 18-2 run in the next five minutes, and the Lions ended the first half in a 32-49 deficit. In the second half, Beaver cut the lead several times, but could not catch up.
In the loss, Senior Zack Fetchin (Hopewell/Aliquippa, PA) led all scorers with 21 points, and Sophomore Tony Houghton (Perry Traditional/Pittsburgh, PA) contributed 10.
On Sat., Dec. 5th, Beaver will host its first conference game of the year vs. Penn State Scranton at 3 p.m.
