Beaver faces loss to DuBois

DuBois PA,- Penn state Beaver Baseball team hit the road as they took on Penn State DuBois. This would lead to a loss for the team. Which would unfortunately put the Beaver team at a 8 game losing streak.

In the first game Beaver baseball started off poorly for the as the team was not able to get any runs in the first inning. Within the second inning while the team manage to get one hit which was done by second year Philip Betz (Marrieta, CA) yet they were not able to secure a run. Going into the third inning Beaver tried again yet falling short only managing to get two hit which was done by second year Nick Campbell (Lewes, DE) and player of the game first year Ryan Coulombe (Easton, PA) but still wasn't able to secure a run. The team would go get no hits for the rest of the innings. On the defensive side the team couldn't manage to stop DuBois from scoring which would lead to the game ending with final score of 0- 15 DuBois taking the win.

In the second game Beaver baseball started off with the same momentum as the first game. Within the first inning no runs were scored. Going to into the second inning while one hit was achieved by first year Justin Lambert (Urhichsvilee, OH), no runs were scored for that inning. In the third inning the team tried again getting only one hit in this inning as well by fourth year Ricardo Elizondo (Los Angeles, CA). Yet they were not able to achieve a run. Going into the fourth inning the team had some luck as our player of the game first year Ryan Coulombe (Easton, PA) scored a run. As the team continued the game they were not able to score anymore runs within the game. Defensively the team was not able to keep up as DuBois scored 11 runs through the whole game. Ending the game with the final score of 1 - 11 DuBois for the win.

Penn State Beaver Baseball will face DuBois again at the Beaver Field house on sunday April 21 at 2:00 pm and 4:00 pm! Along with that the team will be celebrating their senior fourth year Ricardo Elizondo (Los Angeles, CA). Come out and support or catch it all on the riseandroar network!
