Beaver continues losing streak

White Oak, PA- Penn State Beavers Men's Baseball hit the road as they went to Penn State Greater Allegheny to play against them in a double header. Both games lead to a loss for the boys as they went up against a tough competitor in Penn State Allegheny. 

Within the first game Penn State Beaver lost against Greater Allegheny in a no hitter game. Within the first inning Greater Allegheny scored 3 runs while Beaver wasn't able to score any runs. Although they were not able to score, first year Logan Ferguson (Mufeesboro, TN) was able to get one hit within this first inning. From there Allegheny took off scoring more and more each inning. Penn State Beaver was also able to get a hit within the fourth inning as well thanks to second year Philip Betz (Murrieta, CA). The game ended in the fifth inning with a final score of 14- 0 Greater Allegheny for the win. 

In the second game Greater Allegheny took control quickly scoring 7 runs within the first inning. Penn State Beaver was able to get a hit by third year Jericho DeLa Cruz (Auburn, WA). Yet it wasn't enough as they were not able to score any runs within the first inning. As the game went on Allegheny continued to dominate. Penn State Beaver was able to get two more hits within the game. One hit was by first year Logan Ferguson (Mufeesboro, TN)  within the fourth inning. The other one was by third year Jericho DeLa Cruz (Auburn, WA). While the team tried their best Greater Allegheny was able triumph in the second game as well ending in the fifth inning with a score of 21- 0.
