West Virginia- Penn State Beaver Baseball unfortunately lost as they had hit the road for an away game. The team traveled to West Virginia to take on Potomac State college, in a double header. That ultimately ended in a loss for the day.
Within the first game Penn State Beaver takes on Potomac State College. The Beaver baseball team did their best against Potomac State college. With players such as third year Tylik Rouse (Macon, GA) managing to get 1 hit. Along with second year Philip Betz (Mirrieta, CA) and first year Justin Lambert (Urhichsville, OH), who also managed to get one hit. The team tried their best to get in the game. Yet by the end of it Potomac State College was able to keep them at bay. Beaver baseball ended the game with a loss.
Within the second game the Penn State Beaver Baseball team started off with a good defense as Potomac state college only scored one run within the first inning. That changed within the second inning as they scored 13 runs within the second inning. While Beaver baseball sadly did not score any runs at all. From there Potomac State college continued to score. While Beaver tried their best to hold them defensively Potomac State College was able to prevail. Ending the game day with another win.
Penn State Beaver fought hard, and will continue to fight throughout the season. They are set to play again at home against Bethany on Tuesday March 19th at 2 pm and at 4 pm. Come out and support or catch it all on the Rise and Roar network!.
