DuBois, PA - Beaver drops a PSUAC match-up to Penn State DuBois with a score of 15-2 making their conference record 1-5. Scoring in only the 4th and 7th inning, while DuBois scored in every inning, Beaver was unable to secure the win on the road. With 6 hits and 1 error Beaver will need to string together some more big hits and plays in their next few games.
Starting on the mound for Beaver was Freshman, Jacob Gresham, followed by Senior, Jacob Beck, Sophomore, Ricardo Elizondo Jr., Freshman, Matt Galzerano, and Freshman, Michael Buonaiuto. Sophomore, Jake Gartley went 1 for 3 at the plate scoring 1 run and hitting a double. Senior, Jacob Beck, went 2 for 3 at the plate with a double as well, and Junior, Dom Petrella went 1 for 3 with an RBI and a double. The team made only 1 error in the field but was unable to keep up with DuBois having only 6 hits for the game.
The boys next game will be on April 12th at 4pm when they travel to take on Penn State Fayette in a single game match-up. The are currently 2-8 overall with hopes of changing that in the last few weeks of the season.
