Myrtle Beach, SC -- Beaver struggles late in the game, falling to Penn State Schuylkill, 15-3.
After giving up just a single run in the first, Beaver tied up the game in the third inning.
Beaver added another run to the board in the fifth, but not before Schuylkill would score an addition four runs of their own.
Beaver tried to swing the momentum back in their favor, adding a run in the sixth but Schuylkill stayed hot and Beaver would struggle in the 7th and eventually fall by a final score of 15-3.
Coach Hilfinger said he was pleased with their play through the first five innings and they hope to build on that tomorrow.
Beaver returns to action tomorrow at 12:00 p.m. as they face Dean College in their second day of play at the Cal Ripkin Experience.
