Beaver Baseball Pushes Win Streak to 7
The Penn State Beaver baseball team continued their win streak against Penn State New Kensington. Beaver are undefeated in their last seven games.

Blasie McCarty (Beaver Falls, PA/ Riverside) kicked it off with a hit leading him to first base. McCarty steals second and finishes with a run in the bottom of the first inning. Jake Debo (New Brighton, PA/ New Brighton) would have a run of his own in the bottom of the first.
Throughout the game Penn State New Kensington struggled at the plate unable to score. Jake Debo had the hot hand throwing 8 strikeouts. Beaver added another in the third by Ty Cole (Carmichaels, PA/ Carmichaels), before breaking it open in the fifth and sixth, exploding for 9 runs to push the lead to 12-0. Scoring the runs were Justyn Francona (New Brighton, PA/ New Brighton), Scott Hughes (Aliquippa, PA/ Central Valley), Ryan Onderko (Johnstown, PA/ Richland), Jordan Price, Dimetres Moore (Mesa, AZ/ Skyline), Ty Cole, Jake Debo, and Matt Capo (Moon Township, PA/ Moon). Francona earned 3 RBIs, Price and Hughes earned 2 RBIs, Cassanta, Cole, and McCarty all earned 1 RBI.
Beaver wins the game with the score of 12-0. Their back in action tomorrow Friday, April 14 at Westmoreland County.
