After coming off an win vs Penn State New Kensington, Beaver travels to Penn State Du Bois looking to earn another win.
In the bottom of the 1st inning Du Bois took the lead by completing 3 runs. Beaver wouldn't get on the board until Junior Matt Capo (Moon Township, PA / Moon) scored a run in the top of the 3rd inning.
Shortly after, Du Bois would score 2 runs in the bottom of the 5th inning giving them the lead of . Both Nick Cassanta (Moon Twp, PA / Moon) and Dimertres Moore (Mesa, Az / Skyline) would share a strike out. The game was controlled by Du Bois but Beaver kept their heads down and continued to battle to the end.
Beaver would fall to Penn State Dubois with the score of 6-1 giving them their first conference lost. Beaver returns to action tomorrow in a double header, hosting Penn State Du Bois at home.
