Beaver looked to continue their win streak on the road but Schuylkill was determined to put up a fight.
Beaver started off slow remaining scoreless during the first two innings of the game. Eager to take advantage, Schuylkill came out swinging scoring two runs in the bottom of the 1st. Beaver retaliated in the top of the 3rd as Blaise McCarty scored a run, but that did little to even the score.
Schuylkill scored again in the 5th inning and closed the game out 4-2.
Eager to retaliate, Beaver came out strong as Blaise McCarty and Duncan Miklos scored the first two runs. Schuylkill answered with 2 runs of their own including a homer which tied the game 2-2 by the top of the 4th.
At the top of the 4th Beaver countered, scoring 6 runs in the inning. They went onto win the game 9-2 splitting their road series.
Blaise McCarty and Matt Capo contributed with 2 runs a piece for the Lions. Beaver will face Penn State Brandywine tomorrow in another conference double header.
