It was a slow start for Beaver, as the game remained scoreless for the first two innings. However, Beaver picked it up as runs from Jake Debo and Jordan Price gave them a 2-0 lead.
A ground ball from Rob Trhlin started it all allowing William Synder to score , followed by Blaise McCarty and Jordan Price. The lions gained a 5-2 lead and maintained it all the way to the 7th inning.
Derek Bozic doubled towards center field causing Tyler Thellman to score. Bozic then scored on a error giving Beaver a 7-2 advantage as they rallied to a win.
Beaver capitalized the second game, going on a scoring frenzy finishing the game in 5 innings.
Beaver outscored Wilkes-Barre by 8 in the first 3 innings which catapulted them to a 14-4 victory. Tyler Thellman and Duncan Miklos pitched in with 3 runs a piece, while Nick Cassasanta and Blaise McCarty pitched in with 2 runs themselves.
Stephen Galmarini limited any of Wilkes-Barres chances with efficient pitching. Galmarini faced 24 batters, giving up only 10 hits, 5 runs while striking out 5 players.
Beavers win streak is now at 9 games, as they look to make it 11 against Schuykill this Saturday at Pottsville High. The first game will start at 2pm.
