Beaver added an additional run in the top of the sixth inning on a trifecta of hits from Trhlin, Matt Sweikowski (Zelienople, PA/Seneca Valley) and Logan who earned the RBI, but the defensive effort was not enough as Scranton rallied with two outs in the bottom of the seventh inning to score 4 runs and end the game by a final score of 6-5.
The split with Scranton leaves Beaver at 11-7 in the PSUAC as they head into day two of their road trip. Beaver will square off with Penn State Hazleton tomorrow at 12:00 p.m.
