Week 1 Athlete of the Week - Courtney Simpkins
This week's Penn State Beaver Athlete of the Week is Third-Year, Volleyball player, Courtney Simpkins. This week Simpkins played in 3 games during the annual USCAA Tip-Off tournament against tough USCAA competitors! Guzman had 33 digs, 8 service aces, 7 kills, and 58 assists, in total for her 3 games played for a total of 12 sets. Beaver begins the season with a record to 0-3 overall. Their next game will be on September 5th at 7pm when they take on Carlow at home in a non-conference match-up before begining conference play on September 14th against Penn State Shenango.
