Penn State New Kensington couldn't overcome Penn State Beaver, ultimately falling short with a final score of 4-1. Despite a valiant effort, New Kensington struggled to capitalize on scoring opportunities, allowing Beaver to secure the win.

The game started off with Penn State Beaver taking an early lead in the third inning. Mackenzie Boyd's impressive triple to right-center field drove in two runs, bringing Valentina Sandoval and Megan Crane home, giving Beaver a 2-0 advantage. Chloe Coleman then reached base on an error, allowing Boyd to score, extending Beaver's lead to 3-0. Selene Lopez added to the lead with a double to left field, bringing Coleman home, making it 4-0.

Penn State New Kensington fought back in the bottom of the third inning when Piper Zufall doubled to left-center field, driving in Addyson Gregg, narrowing the gap to 4-1. However, they were unable to produce further runs, as Beaver's pitching held them at bay for the remainder of the game.

Pitching was a key factor for both teams, with Kierstyn Mays, Gabbey Flynt, and Mackenzie Boyd combining efforts for Beaver to limit New Kensington to just one run on four hits. Olivia Waldrop pitched a solid game for New Kensington, allowing four runs (three earned) on five hits over seven innings.
