Monaca, PA – New Kensington started off the game with the momentum of from the first game scoring 2 runs in the first inning. Beaver answered with 2 runs of their own to tie the game at the end of the first inning. Beaver took the lead scoring 1 run in the second inning. New Kensington clawed back with 5 runs in the third inning, then sealed the deal 7 more runs and a homerun from freshman Kali Barnett (Ellwood City, PA). New Ken wins 14-3 over Beaver.
Freshmen Madison Hoyt (Dubois, PA) and Addison Gregg (Carlisle, PA) hit for doubles in the game. Kali Barnett led the game with 6 RBI's.
Freshman Olivia Waldrop (Valencia, PA) gets the win on the rubber, pitch 3 innings with 2 strikeouts. Addison Gregg came in for relief, pitching 3 scoreless innings with 3 strikeouts.
