Lions Come Back to Beat Beaver

Mont Alto, PA - New Kensington scores more runs than Beaver, takes victory on Saturday to the tune of 5-4

In the second inning, Beaver got their offense started. Elena Denezza singled on a 3-2 count, scoring one run.

New Ken pulled away for good with four runs in the fourth inning. In the fourth Delaney Sierka doubled on a 2-0 count, scoring one run, Addyson Gregg singled on a 1-1 count, scoring one run, and Ashley Encarnacion singled on a 3-2 count, scoring two runs.

Gregg led things off in the pitcher's circle for  New Ken. Gregg allowed six hits and three runs over three innings, striking out two.

Leeanna West was on the rubber for Beaver. The lefty allowed four hits and four runs over three innings, striking out one and walking one. Bre Thomas threw three innings in relief.

Encarnacion led New Ken with two hits in two at bats.
