Mont Alto, PA - Addyson Gregg shut down Beaver, throwing a complete game shutout and leading New Kensington to a 2-0 victory on Saturday.

The pitching was strong on both sides. Gregg struck out four, while Beaver pitchers sat down three.

One bright spot for Beaver was a double by Selene Lopez in the fourth inning.

Gregg led things off on the rubber for New Ken. The ace allowed two hits and zero runs over seven innings, striking out four and walking one.

Bre Thomas was on the rubber for Beaver. Thoman lasted three innings, allowing five hits and one run while striking out one and walking one. L. West threw three innings in relief out of the bullpen.

New Kensington totaled nine hits in the game. Olivia Waldrop and Delaney Sierka all managed multiple hits for New Ken. Sierka and Waldrop each collected two hits to lead New Ken. New Kensington was sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error. Sierka had the most chances in the field with six.
