Game Story

• Penn State Beaver scored three runs in each the first and second innings to take an early 6-0 lead. Desiree Aponte cleared the bases on her RBI double in the home half of the first inning.

• Elena Denezza started the scoring in the second inning when she plated Valentina Sandoval on a RBI single. Cassadie Speed recorded a 2 RBI double to put Penn State Beaver up 6-0 after two innings. 

• Penn State Beaver added a seventh run in the bottom of the sixth inning.

• Brooklyn Miller and Destiny Hall paced the Penn State Mont Alto offense with a hit each. Kirsten Dell pitched six innings for Penn State Mont Alto, allowing nine hits and striking out two.

Game Story

• Penn State Mont Alto took game two of the doubleheader behind a ten run, 15 hit effort, winning 10-5

• Chloe Sullivan broke the 1-1 tie in the top of the second inning on a RBI single. Peyton Watkins followed that up with a RBI single of her own, pushing Penn State Mont Alto on top 3-1

• McKenna Sas connected on her 8th home run of the season, scoring Sullivan and Watkins to cap off the second inning. Penn State Mont Alto led 6-1 after two innings

• Haley Dawson added to the lead with a RBI single in the top of the fifth inning, the score now 7-1

• Sas registered her second long ball of the game, a two-run home run in the top of the sixth inning, putting Penn State Mont Alto up 9-1

• Penn State Beaver scored two runs in the sixth and seventh innings, as Penn State Mont Alto hung on for the 10-5 non-conference victory

• Penn State Mont Alto starter Katie McCauslin pitched a complete game, going seven innings and allowing eight hits
