Beaver's Struggles Continue in Loss Against Penn State Fayette
The Penn State Beaver women's volleyball team took on Penn State Fayette, in what turned out to be another disappointing loss for Beaver.

Uniontown, Pa -- The Penn State Beaver volleyball team took to the road, traveling to Penn State Fayette for another conference matchup. Beaver comes into this game looking to Bounce back after taking a tough loss against a good Kent State-Tuscarawas team. Still without one of their leaders, Junior Jenna Petrucci, Beaver has been playing hard to make up for the loss as they try to secure a higher seed come playoff time.
The Beaver team didn't look very good in this game, as they seemed to return to their inconsistent play from earlier in the season. After losing big in the first set, by a score of 25-6, it became apparent that the team was off of their game today. The second set was a better for Beaver, but only by a small margin as they lost 25-11. Down 2-0 coming into the third set Beaver finally started to play hard but by then it was too late as they couldn't overcome Fayette's momentum, losing this set 25-16 and the match 3-0.
After their loss aginst Fayette, Beaver now sits at 12-11 overall, with an 8-3 conference record. Led in this one by Junior Roxy Kie, with 11 assists and 22 digs, and Sophomore Morgan Cannister, who had 7 kills and 4 digs, Beaver played played a hard but inconsistent game. Beaver currently sits at fourth in the PSUAC standings, as they will take to the road this Saturday to play two games against Penn State Hazelton and Penn State Lehigh Valley in Hazelton. The first game is set to start at 2 pm.
