Monaca, PA -- The Penn State Beaver women's basketball team looked to take on CCBC in this Friday evening matchup. This would be the second time these teams have played this year and Beaver looks to repeat their outcome of the first game in which they won by a score of three sets to none.
The game started off as Beaver came out with a lot of energy, immediately taking hold of the game and the lead in the first set. The Beaver girls played well all around, taking the first set easily by a score of 25-13.
The second and third sets seemed to be just more of the same for Beaver, as they cruised to wins in the next two sets. With stellar play from the service line and a lot of help at the night, the Beaver girls looked very sharp winning the second set by a score of 25-13 and the third by a score of 25-12.
The Beaver women played phenomenal in this game, with two girls, Roxy Kie and Amanda Mike, combining for 21 kills. Beaver's Juliana Kon also played a great game as she had six service aces on the day. Beaver will be in action again at home against Potomac on September 9 at 6 pm.
