Monaca, PA -- Penn State Beaver squared off against CCBC Saturday afternoon for the first time this season. Beaver, who comes into this game with a 2-3 record, looks to continue their good play against CCBC. The girls have been playing well as of late, and are coming fresh off of a win against Penn Highlands CC in which they looked very impressive.

Beaver showed no signs of slowing down coming into the next set as they continued their fantastic performance. As the set went on they played very well, fighting for every point adn eventually winning this set by a score of 25-11.
By the start of the third set all life seemed to be drained from CCBC, as they struggled to put up a fight against a dominant Penn State Beaver team, once again surrendering the lead almost immediately and never finding any momentum to take it back. Beaver ended up cruising to a victory in this set, winning the set with a score of 25-12 and a game score of three sets to none.
This game was the second impressive performance in a row for the Beaver girls, as they have managed to not lose a set in two straight games. With strong performances at the service line by Morgan Cannister and Alexis Albrecht, both with four service aces, Beaver was able to cruise to their third victory of the year, now sitting at 3-3.
