Alexis Albrecht Verbally Commits to Penn State Beaver

A senior at Lincoln Park, Albrecht plans to attend Beaver in the fall for volleyball.

Alexis Albrecht from Lincoln Park Performing Arts Charter School, verbally commits to Penn State Beaver to play volleyball next fall.

In her junior and senior seasons, Alexis played at Lincoln Park as an outside hitter and defensive specialist where she earned Varsity Letters for her talents. Prior to attending Lincoln Park, she attended West Allegheny where she played primarily on the right side as well as on defense from 8^th through 10^th grade. In the high school off-season, Alexis also played for Renaissance VBC as well as Zero Tolerance VBC. Over the course of her career she has earned several awards including: Most Aces of 2015 Season for high school & KRVA Regional Champion 2013 for Renaissance Volleyball Club.

When not on the court, Albrecht was in the Marine Corps JROTC while at West Allegheny and she also volunteers with P.A.L.S (Providing Assistance Love and Support) which helps children and adults with special needs.

Alexis is considering majoring in Education, but is keeping her options open during her freshman year of college.
