Community Park, PA -- Lady Lions Fall to Penn State Hazelton

Penn State Beaver's Women's Soccer team faced off against Penn State Hazelton Sundayafternoon. The team was defeated 1-0 in their latest PSUAC match-up.
As the first half started, Hazelton gained possession of the ball, attempting to make an early lead, but were unable to get past goaltender Brittany Zahn. Beaver had some success gaining access to the ball, with attempted goals by sophomore Lauren Banks, but they were not enough. The first half ended scoreless.
The second half continued to show both teams struggling to get the ball past their respective goalies. Nearly 30 minutes into the half, Hazelton scored the first and only goal of the game, defeating Beaver 1-0.
The Penn State Beaver Lady Lions are now 0-8 in their season and 0-5 in the PSUAC conference. They will wrap up their season Saturday at Penn State Schuylkill.
