Jeannette Senior to Attend Beaver in the Fall

Lauren Banks from Jeannette Senior High School commits to Penn State Beaver for the fall of 2016 to play women's soccer.

A dual sport athlete in high school, playing basketball and soccer, Lauren has decided to continue her carerer in college focusing on soccer as a center mid and sweeper.  In high school she was named to the All Section team as well as being named Student Athlete of the Week. 

Off the field, she enjoys being a member of the science club. 

As she transitions from high school to college the thing she is looking forward to most is being part of the team and making a difference.  Coach Schetka is excited about her athleticism and is looking forward to seeing how Lauren can help raise the level of the program.
