Jamestown, NY -- The Penn State Beaver Wrestling team traveled to Jamestown Community College today to compete in the college's open.
The competition looked to be tough in this one, as wrestler's Donnie Kerr (Ellwood City, PA / Ellwood) and Ivan Rodriguez (Dallas, TX / Woodrow Wilson) got ready for their matches.
To start of the matches for Beaver, wrestler Donnie Kerr competed at 165 lbs. and ended up going 0-2 on the day.
Ivan Rodriguez looked to do better than his teammate, and in his first match he opened it up with a fall against his opponent from Gannon University. However he didn't have the same success in his second match and ended up going 1-2 on the day.
The men will compete again next Saturday at the Penn State Mont Alto Tournament at a time to be determined.
