Beaver hosts Tri-Match for final home matches of the season
Beaver falls to DuBois and New Kensington
Monaca, PA--- Penn State Beaver wrestling had their final home event of the season, hosting a Tri-Match as they welcomed PSU Hazelton and PSU New Kensington to the Beaver Fieldhouse on Saturday afternoon. Beaver opened up the event with a match against PSU DuBois and they lost to DuBois by a score of 58-0. Both Bobby Tempalski (Hookstown, Hopewell) and Devante Phillip (Waldorf MD, Thomas Stone) lost by fall and Dylan Winkle (Aliquippa, Hopewell) lost by major decision.
Beaver had a much better performance in the second match, falling to New Kensington by a score of 24-8. Tempalski won by technical fall and Winkle won his match by decision.
Beaver will be back in action on Friday when they travel to Fayette to have a match against the Roaring Lions starting at 7pm. Continue to check the Beaver Athletic website for updates throughout the remainder of the season.
