Dubois, PA-Penn State Beaver Suffers a tough loss against Penn State Dubois. The Penn State Beaver Lions started off the game with a tough fight holding a tie of 20-20 for two minutes within the first half. From there the Beaver lions gave a tough fight with first Year Alex Green (Chicago-IL), giving a great assist to first year Nick Gjergji (Yorktown, NY) to score a layup. With Penn State Beaver keeping a good lead until the last three minutes. From there Penn State Dubois started to pull ahead, ending the half with the score of 35-51, Penn State Dubois leads. Kicking off the second half with a tough back and forth. With fourth year Ben Pleasent (Austin Texas) getting a foul when going up on his layup, allowing him to shoot and make two free throws. Along with a strong steal and assist by second year Trevor Franklin (Safford,VA), and layup made by fourth year Chris Green (Washington D.C.). Although Beaver Lions gave a strong fight, Penn State Dubois pulled ahead with a strong lead within the second half as well. Ending the game with the final score 69-102.
Second year Trevor Franklin (Safford,VA) scores a total of 11 points and 6 rebounds. Followed by first year Alex Green (Chicago -IL) scoring in total 9 points with 3 bounds, and second year Josh McCloud (Houston TX) also scoring 9 years and 2 rebounds. As well as Xavier Ryan (Philadephlia,PA)who scored 8 points and had a strong 6 rebounds as well. This game has now put the Penn State Beaver Men's Basketball team conference record at 4-8. Along with their overall record now being 5-13.
