Thirty-Six Student-Athletes Achieve 2020 Spring Academic Awards

Monaca, PA – Thirty-six Penn State Beaver student-athletes were recognized by Penn State Beaver, the Penn State University Athletic Conference (PSUAC), and the United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA) for their outstanding effort in the classroom.

Thirty-six students were awarded the PSUAC Academic All-Conference honor; 20 student-athletes were named to the Dean's List; and one student was awarded the USCAA All-Academic Award. 

To be eligible for the Academic All-Conference distinction, a student-athlete must either maintain a semester GPA of 3.0 or higher during their semester of competition or maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher and have at least 24 credits completed. 

To be eligible for the United States Collegiate Athletic Association distinction, a student-athlete must be of sophomore standing or higher with at least a 3.5 GPA.

To be eligible for Dean's List, a student must obtain a 3.5 or higher GPA.
