Local Softball Player to Continue Career at Beaver
Natalie Larkin of Aliquippa, PA has accepted her offer to Penn State Beaver to continue her softball career.
A recent Central Valley High School graduate, Natalie is a pitcher/1st baseman who has earned 3 varsity letters in her high school career (10th grade, 11th grade, 12th grade).
Even though softball has been very important to her, she has also made time to excel in the classroom. In recognition of her efforts she was chosen as a memeber of the National Honor Society and also earned the Academic Excellence Award.
In her spare time she is also active in several clubs including CARE club, Anti-bullying club, Unified Youth Committee, Special Olympics and FBLA where she was the president for two years.
Larkin also loves to help others and staying active in the community by participating as a mentor, working food drives and volunteering for Friendship Ridge where they offer Bingo for the elderly.
Moving into her college career, Natalie will alwasy cherish the memories of making the playoffs four years in a row in high school and team dinners and hopes to continue to make those memories here at Penn State Beaver.
