Fletcher Chooses Penn State Beaver
The Penn State Beaver Men's Basketball Program is happy to announce that Dominque Fletcher of Alliance High School (Alliance, OH) has committed to continue his academic and athletic career on the Beaver Campus.
The 5'10" guard had a breakout season his senior year where he averaged 12 points per game, 4 assists per game and 3 rebounds per game. Dominique has been part of teams the past two seasons that have finished with 20+ wins and have won their league.
For his efforts, Dominique was named to the NBC 2nd Team, District 4 All-Star Team and All Ohio Honorable Mention Division 2.
When asked what he was most looking forward to at Beaver Dominique stated "I'm looking forward to getting my education and developing relationships with new people, but also to continue winning at basketball like the program has in past seasons."
Men's Basketball Coach Brian Bibey has said that, "Dominique comes from a winning program and understands the commitment it takes to become the best that you can be. His work ethic and mindset will fit nicely with the players that we have returning and will help to push everyone to become a better player and teammate."
