Three Beaver Baseball Players Earn USCAA All-American Awards
Glens Falls, NY -- After ending their careers this season, three seniors earn USCAA All-American awards.
Earning 1st Team All-American, pitcher, Nick Casasanta finished second in the nation in wins with 7 this season (1st in the PSUAC). Not only was he among the best in the wins column, but he was also perfect this season, not taking a single loss. He was also in the top 10 in the nation with an ERA of 2.64. Offensively he also contributed hitting .250 this season.
Earning USCAA Honorable Mention were third baseman, Blaise McCarty and first baseman, Jordan Price. McCarty led the nation this season in batting average, hitting .479 this year. He was also inside the top five in on base percantage, reaching safely more than 50% of the time. Price, who hit .369 this season, had his best year statistically tallying a career high 16 RBI's and 28 hits.
