Four Baseball Players Earn PSUAC All-Conference
With the 2017 season in the books, Beaver Baseball still has reason to celebrate as they have four players earn PSUAC All-Conference honors.
Earning 1st Team honors were seniors, Blaise McCarty and Nick Casasanta. McCarty led the conference in batting averge, hitting .479 this season. He also tallied 8 RBI's and 8 stolen bases. Casasanta, who led the team from the mound as the 1st pitcher in the rotation led the conference in wins with 7, was second in ERA with a 2.64 and was fifth in strikeouts with 32 this season. He also had a perfect record, going 7-0 in his final season.
Earning 2nd Team honors were seniors, Jake Debo and Jordan Price. Debo, batted .333 with 14 RBI's. He was also third in the conference in doubles with 6 this season. Price hit .359 with 16 RBI's and was one of the emotional leaders on the team according to Coach Hilfinger.
