Barrack Obama Academy Senior to Join Lady Lions Basketball in the Fall

Coach Moore and the Penn State Beaver Women's Basketball Team are excited to announce the addition of Dalaysha Askew from Barrack Obama Academy in Pittsburgh.  "Dalaysha is an athletic forward who will really fit our style of play well.  She runs the floor well, rebounds well, and is great in the press" says Coach Moore.

Dalaysha feels that her positive attitude and work ethic will help her succeed on the floor for the Lady Lions.  She is known as a scorer and great defender.  Academically, Dalaysha says " Penn State Beaver will be able to fulfill my educational needs with small class sizes.  I will have a much better opportunity to learn and get closer with my professors.

Dalaysha has been playing basketball for seven years.  Aside from basketball she has played volleyball and ran track.  In her free time, Dalaysha enjoys listening to music, shopping, traveling, and spending time with family.
