Kevin Louis-Charles Commits to Beaver to play Men's Basketball
The Penn State Beaver Men's Basketball program is excited to announce that Kevin Louis-Charles from Central Gwinnett High School (Lawrenceville, GA) has decided to continue his academic and basketball career on the Beaver campus.
With a reputation as an excellent defender, Kevin helped lead Central Gwinnett to the state tournament for the very first time this past year. Additionally, Kevin also received the Jerome Coleman Award and the Coaches Award after the conclusion of the season.
An honor roll student, Kevin stated that what he is most looking forward to at Beaver is, "working on my game, getting the program back to its winning ways, meeting new people and the small class size."
Men's Basketball Coach Brian Bibey has recently said, "We are very excited to welcome Kevin into our family. I am eager to have an opportunity to coach a young man with so much enthusiasm for the game. In getting to know Kevin, it was very clear to me that he is a coachable player with a skill set that will allow him to excel at our level."
