The 5"10' guard averaged 15 points per game as a senior while also adding 5 rebounds and 6 assists per game. A second team all-conference performer, Mason proved to be an accurate shooter from behind the 3-point line as well as an excellent ball handler and defender.
When asked what he was looking forward to at Penn State Beaver, Mason replied "I am looking forward to gaining a personal connection with Beaver faculty, excelling in the classroom and on the basketball court and getting the opportunity to pursue and reach my own success through dedication and hard work."
Coach Brian Bibey was quoted as saying that "Mason is a very driven player and student and we are excited to welcome him to our program. As a player he is a tough competitor who has shown the ability to really shoot the ball. As a student he is committed to being successful and is determined to earn his degree."
