Ron was the Athletic Director and Baseball Coach here at Penn State Beaver from 1999 to 2003. While at Beaver, Ron coached numerous NJCAA All-Americans and CCAC All-Conference players.  Ron had numerous players move on after Beaver to have great careers at various D-1, D-2, and D-3 programs. His 2000 team was the NJCAA Division III Runner’s up.  As an administrator, Ron was instrumental in moving the CCAC to becoming the PSUAC we know today that offers 4 years’ eligibility.  He was also instrumental in the entire PSUAC joining the USCAA back in 2005.  Ron’s influence is still felt today.

After leaving Beaver, Ron took a job as the athletic director at Penn State New Kensington.  While there, he was named USCAA Garth Pleasant Athletic Director of the year.  He then became a teacher at the Deer Lakes School District where he teaches health and physical education.  He approaches the subject with a focus on lifelong learning.  He was named the 2015 Elementary Physical education Teacher of the Year by the Pennsylvania State Association for Health, Physical Education, Recreation, and Dance.
