Bio

Dr. Kuga worked at the campus for nearly 40 years, serving numerous roles.  She was a professor, coached basketball, softball, and volleyball, was the athletic director, Director of Academic Affairs from 1998-2014, and interim chancellor from 2014 until her retirement in 2016. 

Athletically, she is best known for her role as Head Women’s Volleyball Coach.  She earned Commonwealth Campus Athletic Conference Coach of the Year four times for volleyball and Western Pennsylvania Collegiate Conference Coach of the Year as well.  In 2017, She received the Robert J. Scannell Role of Honor award from the PSUAC for her years of service.

Outside of coaching, Donna received the All University Excellence in advising award, outstanding academic adviser award and a community action grant from the American Association of University Women educational foundation.
