Pittsburgh, PA-The Penn State Beaver Lady Lions redeem themselves against Carlow University after a physical game.
In the first half both teams played a very strong game, keeping the score close. Beaver would win the half by only 5 points (29-24), proving that they would have to work harder in the second half.
The second half Beaver stepped it up, scoring frequently to win the game 77-61. Beaver's Cassandra Flowers (Pittsburgh, PA / Westinghouse) led the team with a double-double, 27 points and 12 rebounds. Khalia Adams (Washington, DC / Phelps) also stepped up on offense for Beaver with 13 points.
Beaver goes up against Penn State York on Friday January 31st as they hope to bring home another conference win.
