Pittsburgh,Pa Beaver traveled to Pittsburgh today for a Game against Point Park University. Today's competition proved to be another tough game for Beaver,but they gave it their all, fighting until the 7th inning. However, their efforts were not enough to overcome Point Park. After this devastating loss they now are 2-29 overall and 2-15 in conference play.
Penn State Beaver in this game scored their first run in the top of the 3rd inning when Freshman Christopher Cann (Selden,NY) Reached on a fielder's choice allowing Freshman Ernesto Castillo-Platero (Henricho,Va) to score. After this Beaver had a tough time matching Point Park's efforts in today's competition. Leaving Beaver at 1 and Point Park to score 21 more times. Freshman Jordon Streamo (Niles,OH) went 2-3 at bat while Freshman Philip Betz went 1-2 at bat.
