Bio

Rob came to Penn State Beaver as a graduate of Penn Hills High School in Pittsburgh, PA. He attended Beaver from 2012-2014.

As a member of the men’s basketball team, Rob was a 2-time USCAA 1st team-all American, 2-time PSUAC 1st Team all-conference award recipient, and a PSUAC Player of the year in 2014. In his 1st year, his team was the PSUAC runner’s up and qualified for the USCAA tournament. In his 2nd year, the team was USCAA runners-up, losing in the national championship.

In his two years, Rob scored 1,383 points. Rob was also named to the 2010 PSUAC All-Decade team.  After two years at Beaver, Rob transferred to Clarion University with Coach Williams to finish his career. After college, Rob went on to play professional basketball in Sicily (a region of Italy) for 3 seasons.

Sadly, Rob passed away in a tragic motorcycle accident in March 2022 and has been truly missed.  Rob is survived by his daughter, Bella, who Rob adored and loved whole heartly.
