With a diverse history of playing and coaching experience of 34 yeras in the making, Coach Cleary brings successful playing/coaching experience from multiple levels of competition. As a player then coach at his high school alma mater, Coach Cleary experienced PA State playoff berths with multiple section championship titles and section runner ups in District 8 of the PIAA. In college, he competed at the collegiate men's club level and during off seasons would compete within adult leagues and indoor tournaments throughout the regional area, in USAV. Coach Cleary continued coaching, after college, as a head coach at the middle school, high school and club levels. Sean has also enjoyed coaching at various clinics, camps and training sessions throughout the regional area over the years. He has hosted multiple camps each summer at local community centers to give back and grow the game with a grass roots mentality. Most recently Coach Cleary was the Head Women's Volleyball Coach at Central Valley School District, where the players worked tirelessly so that they may enjoy a successful season.  Prior to Central Valley, Coach Cleary, was the Head Women's Volleyball Coach at Chartiers-Houston School District, where in his 1st season the program was able to achieve a winning season, but came up short of the playoffs by one match. In his 2nd season the Lady Buccaneers obtained a WPIAL Playoff berth for the first time in 4 seasons. By the 3rd season the program was able to perform so well together that they secured their 1st Section Title in 24 years and their 2nd consecutive WPIAL playoff berth. Coach Cleary has also enjoyed over 20 years of coaching at the club level and is currently the Director and Head Coach for the Pittsburgh Juniors Volleyball Academy.  He has held this position for the past 7 years and has enjoyed many successful moments with all of the athletes involved. Coach Cleary knows that in order for the program to be successful he must get the players to believe in the process and give everything they have, so that they may achieve their full potential.  Coach Cleary believes that the actions, execution, and overall development of the players is what will make our program successful.  Coach Cleary has nothing but excitement and optimism when he looks at the present and future of the Women's Volleyball program, he knows that he is surrounded by great people with good intentions for the team and he has already seen the level of commitment that he has from the players. Coach Cleary resides in Moon Township with his wife Maureen and their dog Zoey.
