Glenville, WV - Today the Men's Basketball team traveled to the Mountain State of West Virginia to take on the Pioneers of Glenville State College. After a hard fought 40 minutes the Men's team was unable to secure a win on the road, finishing the game with a final score of 37 - 92. Scoring 24 in the first half and 13 in the second, it was not enough to take down the Pioneers.
Leading the team for Beaver was Senior, Devon Johnson (Washington DC) who scored 13 points, had 1 rebound, 3 assists, and 5 steals on the night. Sophomore, Chris Green (Washington DC) scored 8 points, and Senior, Alexander Avery (Stafford, VA) scored 7 points. Senior, Izaiah Dickerson (Washington DC) had an impressive 11 rebounds on the night helping the Lions defensively.
After tonights game the Lions record moves to 1-12 overall and 0-8 in PSUAC play. Come out and support the Lions as they continue their fight this season on Tuesday, January 10th at 6pm when they take on Villa Maria. If you can't make it to the game, watch it live on the Rise and Roar Network!
