DuBois Sweeps Beaver

DuBois Sweeps Beaver

The Penn State DuBois baseball team travelled to conference opponent PSU Beaver last night for a double header.  Nolan Walters got the start from the mound, and did not disappoint.  With plenty of offensive fire power DuBois would back up Walters performance to give him plenty of help.

DuBois would put up 20 runs in game 1, with 9 of those coming in the 5th inning.  Daniel Stauffer would have quite the personal outing offensively as he would go 4 for 4 from the plate with 3 doubles and 1 home run.

Both Logan Wagner and Colby Bodtorf would go for 2 hits on the game, and Cory Lehman, Tanner LaBenne, Wagner, and Tylor Herzing would all hit a double.

Walters would go 4 innings of work, allowing only 3 runs, and striking out 5 batters.

Game 2 would be much of the same story for DuBois.   Braiden Blair would get the start from the mound for DuBois, but plenty of pitchers would get their own work in as well.  Trevor Hanna and Brandon Sicheri would both knock in 2 runs to help the cause, and Hanna would add a double as 1 one of his hits.

DuBois would go on to win game 2 with a score of 12-1.
