Beaver finishes off Greater Allegheny 84-55
Penn State Beaver Women's Basketball team traveled to Penn State Greater Allegheny on Tuesday evening.
Pittsburgh, PA- Penn State Beaver led over Penn State Greater Allegheny all four quarters, with their biggest lead coming in the first quarter., when they were up 13 points. Playing a strong offensive game, and having a big defensive stance on the night, helped lead Beaver to their first conference win this season.
Alexis Cross led the line for Beaver with 15 points, 1 steal, and 6 rebounds. Jimya Chambers had 3 rebounds and 6 assists, helping the team in anyway she could. Caitlyn O'Hara had 13 points, 6 rebounds, 2 assists, and 1 steal on the night as well. Emily Keener was able to score 10 points, have 3 rebounds, and gain 3 assists. Mikayla Womer had 8 points, 6 rebounds, 1 steal, 1 assists, and 1 block, boosting the teams lead even further. Aaliyah Booker had 1 point for Beaver. Emerson Tooch had 1 point, 7 rebounds, 1 assists, and 1 block. Katherine Miller had 4 points, and 4 rebounds. Amaya Wright had 2 points, 2 rebounds, and 1 assists for Beaver. Rounding out the line for Beaver tonight was Kiera Baker with 12 points and 1 rebound, and Kyra Seggewiss who had 6 points, 4 rebounds, and 1 steal.
Beaver's overall record is 2-1, and 1-0 in conference. The Penn State Beaver Lady Lions next game will be Friday, Novemeber 19th when they travel to Penn State Hazleton, to play at 6:00 p.m. Good luck ladies!
