Penn State Beaver Lady Lions improve to 9-1 in the PSUAC.
It was a high paced scrappy game, but the Lady Lions prevailed 97-87 over rival Penn State Fayette.

Penn State Beaver Lady Lion's improve to 12-9 overall and 9-1 in the PSUAC with a big win over rival Fayette. They jumped out to an early lead in the first quarter leading by as much as nine points, but this seemed to be the theme of the game, as Fayette continued to battle back throughout. There were many lead changes and Fayette actually lead 24-22 at the end of the first quarter. Beaver got into some early foul trouble which lead to them spreading the scoring out pretty evenly.
It was all tied up at 45 coming out of halftime, it was an exceptional game with intensity that carried over into a very high scoring third quarter which ended with a 72-71 lead, in favor of Beaver. It as anybodies game until about halfway through the fourth when beaver started to pull away as a team. They displayed great team basketball and stayed away from fouling. They shot a whopping 89% from the three point line and 49.3 percent from the field.
It was a very even disrtribution of scoring tonight for the lady lions. Morgan Kurtz and Brittany Jackson both put up 20 points a piece with Jackson also having 11 rebounds, 8 defensive. Khalia adams was 3 of 3 from three and added 19 points and four assists. Mason Depetro also added 19 points with 4 assists and a surprising 6 rebounds. The Lady Lions look to improve to 10-1 at home Sunday February 7th, at 12:00 p.m.
