Penn State Beaver takes home the playoff win against Penn State Greater Allegheny 7-2

Beaver Falls, PA- Penn State Beaver finished off Penn State Greater Allegheny in round one of the PSUAC Playoff Tournament. Beaver knocked in 2 goals in the first half and an impressive 5 goals in the second half. Penn State Beaver had a total of 31 shots, 2 saves, 10 corner kicks, and 15 fouls. 

Nadeem Shakshir (Jerusalem / Friends School Palestine) scored the first goal for Beaver which was assisted by Jake Ross (Munhall, PA / Steel Valley) at the 11:24 mark staring the game off hot. Osarumwense Ehigiamusoe (Bowie, MD / CMIT South) put another on the board for Beaver which was assisted by Frederick Riedel (Pasadena, CA / Loyola of Los Angeles) at the 37:35 minute mark. Nadeem Shakshir came back again for a another putting one more on the board for Beaver at the 45:29 minute mark in the second half. Osarumwense Ehigiamusoe got an assisted header goal by Jake Saldivar (Darlington, PA / Blackhawk) at the 55:08 minute mark for Penn State Beaver, increasing their lead even more. Nadeem Shakshir had his third goal of the day from an assisted goal in the second half making the score 2-5. Tanner Golletti (Monaca, PA / Central Valley) got on the board as well, with an assist by Frederick Riedel at the 68:02 minute mark.  Inioluwa Muyiwa (Houston, TX / Jappotown) got the last goal for Beaver at the 85:11 minute mark finishing off Greater Allegheny for the season. Goalkeeper, Adrain Garcia (Central Islip, NY / Central Islip) showed up for Beaver with 2 saves and 2 goals allowed, helping his team to a powerful first round victory for the PSUAC Playoff Tournament. 

The Penn State Beaver Men's Soccer team's overall record stands at 12-5 and 8-3 in the conference. They will travel to Penn State Brandywine Saturday, October 30th for the semi-final round of playoffs. Wish them luck!
