Lions falls in second round to Greater Allegheny 80-63
Beaver loses second round of PSUAC playoffs to Greater Allegheny 80-63.
Monaca, PA - #2 Beaver took on #3 Penn State Greater Allegheny in the quaterfinals of the PSUAC Playoff Tournament. The game began slow as Greater Allegheny scored the opening point. Beaver quickly answered back to begin a scoring bout from both sides. Greater Allegheny took the lead by no more than 5 points at any point as Beaver continued to fight to stay in the game. The score going into halftime was 34-31 with Greater Allegheny in the lead. The second half was much more of the same in terms of scoring. Greater Allegheny maintained the lead as Beaver trailed closely but Beaver could never put up enough points to gain the lead. In the final 2 minutes, Greater Allegheny finally pushed the margin to a 10 point lead. The Lions continued to fight but with little success, losing the game 80-63
Senior Jeremy Redwine had 18 points, 6 rebounds, and 3 assists. Senior Izaiah Dickerson had 15 points, 6 assists, 4 rebounds, and 1 steal. Senior Devon Johnson had 16 points, 11 rebounds, 2 assists, 1 steal, and 1 block.

Following tonight's game, Beaver has been eliminated from the PSUAC Playoff Tournament. Beaver will be looking to win an at-large bid in order to continue into the USCAA National Championship Tournament.
