Big Win for Beaver over New Kensington 80-63
Beaver takes home another big win going into the final week of the season over Penn State New Kensington
New Kensington, PA - As the men traveled to take on Penn State New Kensington there was only one goal in mind, to win and clinch the 2nd spot in the PSUAC West Division. Beaver came out hot score 37 points in the first half, while New Kesington only scored 25. Coming back from the half, Beaver really hit their stride and was able to dominate by scoring 43 points, bring the final score to 80-63. The men were able to secure a win and secure the 2nd spot in the PSUAC West Division.
Senior, Izaiah Dickerson was able to lead his team to the victory by scoring 27 points, having 6 rebounds, 4 assists, 2 steals, and 1 block. Another Senior, Jeremy Redwine, scored 21 points, had 9 rebounds, 6 assists, and 2 blocks for Beaver in this great team win. Freshman, Chris Green, and Senior, Devon Johnson also scored 12 for Beaver.
The team now stands at 15-9 for the season, and 12-6 in the confernce. They will play again on February, 17th at 8pm. Senior Night will be held prior to the game and will be broadcasted live as well. Make sure to come support or tune into the Rise and Roar Network for all the action!
