Beaver gets a Road-Trip win for a PSUAC Game against Penn State Schuykill 72-67
Beaver traveled to Penn State Schuylkill on Saturday evening and won the first PSUAC game of the season.
Schuykill- Having a slow start and trailing 44-45 after the first half Beaver was able to secure a win tonight by outscoring Schuylkill 28-22 in the second half. The final score for the Men was 72-67, with plenty of notable players to recognize.
To start, senior, Izaiah Dickerson led Beaver with 27 points, 8 rebounds, 1 assists, 2 steals, and 1 block. Devon Johnson had 13 points on the night, with 14 rebounds, 4 assists, 4 steals, and 3 blocks. Alexander Avery had a hand in Beavers win with 7 points, 1 rebound, 2 assists, and 1 steal. Jeremy Redwine had 6 points, 15 rebounds and 2 assists as well. While Chris Green had 16 points, 1 rebound, and 2 assissts, for Beaver. Rounding out the line is Tre Johnson, who had 3 points for Beaver. Beaver shot 80% from the free throw tonight. The largest lead for Beaver was 7 points over Schuylkill.
The Men's team is now 4-1 overall, while remining 3-0 in conference play. Penn State Beaver will return home for their next game against Kent St.-Tuscarawas, 5:00 p.m. Good luck Beaver!
